Nunhead American Radio with Lewis Schaffer 13 February 2012 with Malcolm Collins of Friends of Nunhead Cemetery and ex-Nunhead American Robin Schacht!!

13 Feb '12 Cemetery, Robin Schacht.  The Voice of Americans with Lewis Schaffer and Lisa Moyle. Our best show ever! Every day our show becomes more and more about our beloved Nunhead. This week we learned that Charles Dickens might have actually died in Nunhead. (Yes, Wikipedia that!) "Satheast" Londoner Malcolm Collins gives us the inside dope on the treasure of Nunhead, Nunhead Cemetery, as a representative of Friends of Nunhead Cemetery (FONC). "Why does a cemetery need friends?" is one question we asked.

It has only taken us two and half years to have someone from his organization in the studio.  His daughter, Anita, couldn't make it and I was pleasantly surprised when Malcolm was able to hold the show on his own.

As always, Robin Schacht from Washington DC and Nunhead added good, wholesome American spirit to the proceedings.  Not that co-host Lisa Moyle isn't wholesome, she is, but in a very New York way. It struck me who Robin reminds me of: a very young, and perhaps even prettier Meryl Streep! Lovely Leanne Bower has flown the coop - sadly. A shout out to her Mom and her Dad up there in Barnsley or Burnley or Blackburn or Blackpool. It begins with a "B", that is all I know.  Lovely Charlotte ran the soundboard for the first time, under able direction of Chris Dixon, who also added a very funny joke to the show.  And Lisa Moyle was particularly pleasant! Enjoy.
